Questions

How do I get a PDF?

Press the print button and choose Save as PDF as the printer. Pick the same paper size in the print dialog, and turn margins off if the dialog shows them.

Does the QR code work on every phone?

Current iPhones and Android phones join the network straight from the camera. The password is printed on the card as well, for guests whose phone cannot scan.

Is the password stored anywhere?

Only in this browser, on this device, so the form is filled in next time. Nothing is sent to a server, and the clear button removes it.

Why is my print cropped, small or scaled?

In the print dialog choose the same paper size as the card, set the scale to 100% (not "fit to page"), and turn on background graphics if the dialog offers it.

Should I laminate it, and which finish?

Lamination keeps it clean and lasts. Choose matte: glossy film can glare under a lamp and stop the QR code scanning. Scan it once after laminating.

The QR code will not scan. What should I check?

That the white border around the code is intact, that there is no glare, and that the camera is not too close. The password is printed on the card for guests who cannot scan.

Does it work with hidden, open or WPA3 networks?

Yes. Hidden networks and the security type are under Advanced, and the no-password switch covers open networks. WPA covers WPA2 and WPA3.

How do I change the password later?

Open the page on the same device, edit the password and print again. The form is kept in the browser, so nothing needs retyping.

Is it really free? Is there a watermark?

Free, with no account and no watermark, and fine to use for your own properties.

Do this and the house rules sign share my details?

Yes. The property name, languages, accent colour, paper tint and logo are kept on this device and shared by both tools, so the two sheets match.

What if my logo looks blurry?

The page checks the logo's resolution against the size it prints at and says so. Use a larger image, or an SVG, which stays sharp at any size.
