The website of Mala Galerija Art Studio, a painter's atelier in Split. Visitors browse paintings, limited-edition prints and giclée prints by category and artist, each work on its own page, and send an enquiry about a specific work. The site is in Croatian and English.
Each artist has a page with a biography, exhibitions and their works. The atelier’s address is on the contact page with a map, for visits by appointment.
Each work has its own page, hung on a lit wall above a label with its title, artist, technique and size. Below it come a short description, the artist's biography and other works from the same category. A shared link previews the whole work on the wall colour, not a crop of it.
The work is drawn to scale on a wall beside a figure 165 cm tall, hung with its centre at 147 cm, the height at which paintings are usually hung. A colour band shows the work's main colours in proportion, measured from its photograph.
The enquiry form opens beside the work, with its image, title and size at the top. The email arrives with the work in its subject line and a link to its page.
A page for owners of apartments, hotels, restaurants and offices: which works suit each kind of space, how a selection is made from a few photographs of the rooms, and answers on price, a series in one format and seeing the works at the atelier.
