The website of Radost, a kindergarten in Vela Luka on the island of Korčula. Parents follow the news, enrolment and the menu there. The kindergarten uses it to publish the documents a public institution is required to make available. The staff edit all of it themselves, from their own admin.
Documents form one library that news items and pages attach from, and the kindergarten documents page lists them by category. The previous site’s news and documents were carried over with the links between them.
News is sorted into categories such as job openings, enrolment and general notices, and each category's colour marks the headline and label on its card. A notice without a photo gets its category's illustration, so the list stays even when only text is published.
The statute, rulebooks, financial plans, procurement procedures and job openings are published on one page, sorted into categories. Only categories with visible documents are shown, and each document is listed with its size.
A news item is written in a rich-text editor, and changes save themselves 30 seconds after the first unsaved edit. The subtitle, summary, and search title and description can be drafted as a suggestion, written in Croatian from the article's content.
The main menu is arranged by dragging, up to two levels deep. An item points at the page or news item itself rather than a typed address, so the link follows the page when its address changes. The address, phone, opening hours and homepage text are edited in the settings and show at once in the header, the footer and the data search engines read.
